The lads secured promotion back to the HPL at the first attempt after a 3-2 win against a combative Driffield side ensured a top 2 finish and sent them back to the top of the table.
After going 2-0 up early on it looked as though a convincing win may be on the cards but some poor decision making allowed Driffield back into the game. After some great build up play, Jordan Holmes fired one into the top corner late in the first half which ultimately secured victory for the Seasiders.
Reserves review:
Queens County 11 Hornsea Town Res 1
It was a heavy defeat away to top of the league Queens County for the reserves. Missing many regulars the lads were always up against it. A Trevor Brooks penalty being the only consolation in a week to forget for the reserves.
