Since my last bulletin there are a number of things that have been finalised for this season, so here goes:
We will be fielding 2 Adult Saturday teams this season in the York and District Senior League, along with midweek/Sunday morning fixtures for Junior sides – from under 9s to 15s.
James Vickerton has worked hard to have the club invited to join the Bridlington Evening League. A draft set of fixtures received indicates that matches will be on Thursday evenings running from 4th May to mid-August.
Please let James know of your availability.
Thanks to Adam Newington and Pete Marson for their commitment to running and coaching the club’s junior sides. The club will be playing regular league fixtures at U15s and U11s along with development games at other age groups.
Over the past month The indoor nets have been well received. Here is the schedule of sessions remaining.

The Club have agreed arrangements with Drury Sports (Driffield) for them to supply Gray Nicholls teamwear and leisurewear for the upcoming season.
Senior players will be provided with a new club shirt courtesy of sponsors Whiteheads Fish & Chips. Geoff Whitehead continues to be a fantastic supporter of the club and of local sport in general.
Additional teamwear and leisurewear from the Hornsea CC Gray Nicholls range can be ordered via Drury Sports website teamwear menu page – Hornsea CC http://www.drurysports.com/cat.php?id=105

Communication – Team app
In order to ease communication between captains / players / members the club has set up an app. It is designed specifically for sports clubs so that members can be made aware of forthcoming events, news items, fixtures etc. It should reduce the phoning around that captains have to do, so the more people that become members the better.
It can be installed on a smartphone via your app store, but it is also available as a website, https://hornseacricketclub.teamapp.com
