The pitch has had a fantastic 2017, seeing an increase in footfall to roughly 8,000 users per month.  This figure does not include spectators.  We have increased our bookings with teams from Leven, Brandesburton and Long Riston using the pitch.  We have also got extra Walking Football and Rugby sessions taking place. We would like to welcome new supporting businesses, Acorn Associates and Coast to Coast financial services, both have purchased their own advertising boards which are attached to the fencing around the pitch.  Bodymax Sports have also sponsored uniform for our coaching staff. During 2017 the facility has allowed our Partner clubs to thrive.  Hornsea Sporting have started several new teams in the last year giving more children the opportunity to play organised football training and fixtures.  Hornsea Town were promoted back to the Humber Premier League following a successful 2016/17 season. Hornsea 3G run a Saturday morning Football Academy which is going from strength to strength.  We now have a Girls Only football club run by our coach Natalie Holmes.  The academy is for children ages 5-11 of all abilities to be coached and have fun. From the beginning of the academic year we have joined up with Hornsea Community Primary School to deliver after school football clubs for school years 1-6. Throughout 2017 we have had so many success stories, not to mention all the amazing clubs and PE lessons delivered by the HSLC PE department that take place on the pitch every day. In recent weeks we have had Hull City and ex-Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart booking the pitch.  Kevin and his friends who include famous YouTube goal keeper Kammy are creating their own channel on YouTube.  They have been filming their football videos at Hornsea 3G for several weeks and intend to return in the near future. Other events that have taken place are: Seaside 6s/FairTrade/Tigers Trust Tournaments, Women’s Walking Footballers playing at half time at a Hull City match, Twilight football, Just Play, Parent and Child and are very successful adult 6-a-side league (HPS League). Thanks again for supporting Hornsea 3G and local sport. Merry Christmas Tom Connor, Hornsea 3G Coordinator
