Hornsea Museum- The First Classic Car Show

A New joint initiative between Hornsea Museum and the recently formed Hornsea Foundation (the charity born as a result of the Bike Event) has produced Hornsea’s first Classic Car Show. A collection of old and iconic cars will be in Hall Garth Park on Sunday 15th July from 10.00 to 4.00. As well as the cars themselves, there will be trade stands and bits of spares for cars, stalls, refreshments and rides for children. Entry to this day of fun for all the family is free. Once again the Children’s Craft mornings will run throughout the school summer holidays. They will be on Thursday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00 starting on 26th July and then on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th August when the children will be able to make cards, bags and hats amongst other crafts. The cost is £3.50 per child who must be accompanied by an adult who pays £1.00 which will also enable them to go round the whole Museum and Hornsea Pottery exhibition. While there will be cakes available, if the weather is good, why not bring a picnic and make a day of it in the lovely large garden. .
