Hornsea Town of Culture?

Let’s Go Hornsea wants to hear your ideas for 2017 Lets’ Go Hornsea was formed to deliver positive regeneration ideas, we would like to hear your plans for 2017 at an upcoming meeting,  January 11^th 2017 at 7.30pm at the Town Hall. Hornsea consistently produces a variety of fantastic cultural activities, which bring people together and offer sources of inspiration. The meeting will explore linking activities to the chosen City of Culture seasons, deliberate what resources are still needed and discuss what could be achieved by working together. Let’s Go Hornsea knows there is a vast array of local people who simply ‘get things’ done and also local residents that want to help, but are not sure how to get involved. This informal meeting will provide a space to openly share ideas, which will help everyone to collectively achieve great things. The meeting will discuss: Plans for 2017 and how we can link them to the city of culture seasons? What other ideas you have that can be delivered with a little more help? What help you could offer to make these ideas possible? Please take a look at the Hull City of Culture Seasons and the initial areas we could work together on:

Made in Hornsea January – March	Let’s celebrate the local stories, the arts, the community and how we have inspired others.
Roots & Routes April – June	Let’s explore, capture and share our heritage. Find out how we are connected to places & people, thanking past & present heroes; and let’s inspire new ones!
Freedom July – September	Let’s explore the freedom of our environment, express quirks and ideas, while helping others to find their personal freedom
Tell the world October – December	Let’s go and promote what Hornsea has on offer, what our community means to us as well as our visitors. Let’s get things moving towards an exciting future.
