A small group of Hornsea folk has been exploring the possibility of setting up a social and activities group for people living with dementia.
Having identified a definite need for such a group in Hornsea, the time seems right to take the next step.
An open invitation is extended to anyone living in the Hornsea area who either has dementia, is caring for somebody with dementia or has an interest in dementia to come along for coffee (or tea!) and cake on Saturday 19th January 2019 at the Parish Hall. This will give the time and the opportunity for a chat and put forward ideas and suggestions as how best to take this idea forward.
If there is enough interest and enthusiasm, a regular group for people living with dementia could become a regular fixture on the Hornsea calendar.
